Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows XP Professional receives ICSA certification Solution recognized as achieving rigorous desktop/server detection and cleaning certification
Sophos products have received ICSA Labs certification.
Sophos has announced that its flagship product, Sophos Anti-Virus, has received certification from ICSA Labs for its ability to detect and disinfect in-the-wild virus threats on the Windows XP Professional platform.
Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows XP Professional was tested against all known in-the-wild viruses and detected and disinfected them all with ease. This provides further confirmation of Sophos's ability to protect corporations from the viruses, spyware, worms and Trojans that threaten their systems.
Future versions and updates of Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows XP Professional retain certification as long they continue to meeting certification manintenace requirements of ICSA Labs' test facilities.
