In November 2007, all Sophos Anti-Virus customers were automatically upgraded to the latest version.
Benefits of Sophos Anti-Virus SBE 2.5 include:
- Integrated adware and potentially unwanted application (PUA) protection from Sophos Anti-Virus
- Centralized cleanup and threat summary dashboard with Sophos Control Center, version 2.0
- Enhanced protection for Mac OS X 10.2 and higher
The installation requested a reboot, and you should have done this in order to take advantage of the protection in this latest version.
For enhanced security with firewall protection, you can upgrade at an additional cost to Sophos Computer Security, or with added anti-spam to Sophos Security Suite.
