Sophos PureMessage SBE: how to check that auto-updating is working
You can check that auto-updating is working in Sophos PureMessage Small Business Edition (SBE) on the computer running Sophos PureMessage SBE, or at the Sophos Control Center, if Sophos
The Sophos Control Center enables you to check all computers at a glance.
What to do
To check on a computer running Sophos PureMessage SBE
- locate the shield icon in the system tray in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen
- ensure that it is a uniform blue or grey colour
- failed updates can be identified by a white-cross on a red-circle displayed on this shield.
To check from the Sophos Control Center
- open the Sophos Control Center
- on all protected computers 'Protection' will be listed as 'Up to date'.
