SAV Interface: unresolved symbols given when linking against the HP-UX library

In some circumstances, SAV Interface applications can give unresolved symbols when linking against the HP-UX SAV Interface library.

This problem only occurs with SAV Interface. It does not happen with Sophos Anti-Virus for Unix.

What to do

Ensure that your SAV Interface application code contains the statement
#define INITGUIDin one of the source files.
This should be placed above the line mentioning the file csavi3c.h.
