Advisory: Mac OS X release 10.4.3

On the 31st of October Apple released their latest version of Mac OS X, version 10.4.3.

This release fixes several problems with the operating system, including an issue with the network controller which caused problems where Mac OS X 10.4 computers had the RMS component of Sophos Anti-Virus installed, but did not have a network cable plugged in.

Internal tests have confirmed that release 10.4.3 fixes this issue. Sophos recommends customers to upgrade to this release.

Note: Before upgrading, you should consult your systems administrator, and respect any security patch testing procedure.
