Sophos Client Firewall: log cleaner does not maintain size below value specified in configuration page
As the Sophos Client Firewall log is only purged periodically, under heavy load the size of the database may become substantially larger than the value specified in the configuration editor log tab.
The next time the log is purged, its size will be reduced to below the size specified.
What to do
You should set the log size appreciably below the maximum tolerable size.
- At the Taskbar, select Start|Programs|Sophos|Sophos Client Firewall|Configure Sophos Client Firewall
- Select the Log tab.
- Ensure that 'Delete old records' is selected.
- Adjust your Log cleanup settings.
