Sophos Client Firewall: installation causes Cisco VPN client and SecuRemote programs to fail
Installing Sophos Client Firewall on a computer with Cisco VPN client and SecuRemote installed, causes both these programs to fail.
What to do
You must carry out a custom installation of the VPN client software, which doesn't install the integrated firewall. Details of how to do this are documented in the Cisco VPN client readme file, version 4.8.00.0440.

Technical information
The incompatibility between Sophos Client Firewall and Cisco VPN software (V4.8.00.0440), is because both the Sophos Client Firewall driver (scfdriver) and the Zonelabs firewall driver (vsdatant.sys) try to use the same component. This causes them to loop packets between each other, gradually increasing the queue of packets to be sent.
