Sophos small business solutions: when attempting to update Sophos Control Center version 2.0.0 to version 2.0.1, error 1316 is displayed
When attempting to upgrade Sophos Control Center, version 2.0.0 to version 2.0.1, the installation fails, and you see the error:
Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file C:\savscc20\Sophos Control Center with firewall.msi.
What to do
If you receive the above message, you must:
- Uninstall Sophos Control Center, version 2.0.0. from your computer.
- Do a fresh installation of Sophos Control Center, version 2.0.1 as described in the Sophos Anti-Virus network startup guide.
