EM Library: generates update errors including index 0x8007002

Issue 
An EM Library update generates the following errors. These can be seen in the EM Library Message log. 

could not delete \\server\interchk\savscfxp\\setup.exe;
could not delete \\server\interchk\savscfxp\\setupenu.dll;
could not open \\server\interchk\savscfxp\\<filename>; index 0x8007002

Sophos product and version
EM Library 1.3

Operating system
Windows 2003 Server R2 SP2

What to do

  1. Close the EM Library console.
  2. Close Enterprise Console.
  3. Un-share, and then re-share, the Central Installation Directory (CID).
  4. Ensure the 'Everyone' group has 'Full Control' permission for the CID.
  5. Update the checksum of the CID.

If this keeps happening check how many computers connect in to the CID (1,000 MAX. but this might need to be a lot less depending on their network).
