What to do
Sophos Control Center
- In Sophos Control Center, click 'Configure firewall', then click 'Next'.
- Turn on the firewall (recommended)
- In Custom settings, select 'Allow file and print sharing'.
- Select 'Create custom rules'|Customize.
- Click 'Global rules'|Add, and enter a name for the Rule.
- Specify the direction, address (local and\or remote), and port (local and\or remote).
- Under the Rule description specify the protocol (TCP, IP or UDP)
Sophos Enterprise Console
- In the Sophos Enterprise Console, click 'Firewall' then click 'Next'.
- Right-click the policy you wish to edit (example Default)
- Select View\Edit policy.
- Click 'Global Rules'|Add, and enter a name for the Rule.
- Specify direction, address (local and\or remote), and port (local and\or remote).
- Under the Rule description specify the protocol (TCP, IP or UDP).
