EM Library: how to change the remote library CID from the default to a non-default location
Issue
How to create a CID on a remote library server at a non-default location, e.g. \\RemoteServer\InterChk\ rather than at the default location, which is \\RemoteServer\SophosEM\CIDRoot\

Operating system:
Windows 2003 Server R2 SP1
What to do
- If you have not already done so, create the Library on the remote server. For information on how to do this, refer to the EM Library - Large Networks guide
- Create a new folder on the remote server and share it as "InterChk".
- Ensure that the sharing permissions for it are Everyone with Full Control.
- Right click on the required package and select Add\Configure CID.
- When asking for the CID location select 'Custom' and enter \\RemoteServer\InterChk\<CIDName>
